Now you can dance the magic of Kripalu in your own living room with
KDZ’s rousing and varied rhythms. A great way to rock your chakras awake and stimulate your inner serpent.
- Anodea Judith,
author Wheels of Life, Eastern Body, Western Mind
I love every cell of KDZ and the shaktified rhythms that come through them.
This CD is a must for yoga, movement & living freedom. - Shiva Rea, Yogini Over the past five years, I've seen KDZ grow into a very sophisticated musical force
here at Kripalu. This CD captures KDZ's inspiring variety and spontaneity--and I guarantee that when you hear it you will
be compelled to get up and dance! I was! - Stephen Cope, Director,
Kripalu Institute for Extraordinary Living; author of Yoga and the Quest for the True Self, and The Wisdom of Yoga I've

from the hands of these drummers and musicians. Real music made by real people not afraid to set their hearts, and ours, on
fire. - Mark Kelso, Music producer, recording artist,

KDZ knows how to take great
musical performance and make a great recording out of it. Check out their new CD!
- Russill Paul, author, teacher and music producer of The Yoga of Sound
KDZ is without a doubt my favorite drumming team
in the world. KDZ's first album was fabulous, this second one is even better - if possible. You can't sit still and
listen to KDZ; they MAKE you get up and move! They're the best! -
Megha Nancy Buttenheim, Director Danskinetics Teacher Training

Our KDZ Villagers
Lipbone Redding Solely with his pursed lips, vocal chords, and sometimes and empty wine glass, Lipbone adds an amazing Cuban trumpet
flare to Firetruck, transforming our rhythmgoove to a street scene celebrating a
random mid-day fire alarm evacuation. See
him in action.
Rich Goodhart On Dousongoni Daydream and Afro-Groove,
Rich shares his melodic genius with all of us. A very unique element to our usual rhythmic frenzy, Rich not only manages
to migrate his sound with ours, but by doing so he expands both tracks beyond even both of our expectations.

This album took a village to complete, so we wanted to briefly highlight the guest musicians/fellow villagers
that contributed their talents to the album.
Mark Kelso With a music career spanning more than 30 years, more than 20 solo albums and just as
much experience as a music producer at Muddy Angel Studios, Mark's presence in any way is a blessing. His subtle piano
pad in Afro-Groove is no exception to that rule. Keep an eye out for KDZ's Yoga CD which will more than likely include
even more of Mark's talents. (don't ya love this image ;)
Two others who grace
this album with their talents:
Mohamed Camara & Tim Brenner
Mohamed is a 15 year old djembe
prodigy, his solos are prominent throughout Djole and Cassa, his ability speaks for itself... so you'll just have to listen
to believe it.
Tim is a former Kripalu Drummer, his early efforts laid
foundation for what is now KDZ. His handiwork can be heard on Cassa (shakere) and Djole (bell). Having Tim on
this album is such a gift to us.
